  What's about raiding?
Posted by mak, 14/6-2021 11:46 (#1)

Greetings, comrades! Some strange things are happening on this server.

One skilled player with nickname Nemuritor raided the whole island. I lost four my bases, but it is a normal practice for Rust. Clan of 6 ppl forced the administration to ban this player for 'griefing'. Probably, it is okay too.

They notified me, that I should not 'grief' their base, or I will be banned as well. Just another okey from my side: online raids are good enough for me, I will come when they online.

Next day, one of them (Peppa/Zoot) raided three my bases and killed my teammate. Of course, when we were offline. According to chat, even after that I cannot touch their bases, because 'griefing' is prohibited by the server rules.

I ask the administration to clarify the server rules:

1) Are there really exist any 'untouchable' players that I am not allowed to kill or raid?
2) What is about raiding in general? Are offline raids equal to griefing?

P.S. Thanks for the excellent servers! The idea of low upkeep is amazing, Rust was transformed into completely another game.

Hi Mak

1) You may kill and raid all players and bases on the server, however it's a good gesture to let them finish their base, before raiding it.

2) Offline raids are not the same as griefing. Griefing is when you close the base so the owner can't use it anymore, or get into the base.
